CreativeCow: Light Iron Goes to Comic-Con

Light Iron, a post production facility in the heart of Hollywood, is proud to announce that they provided post production support on four major features that were promoted during Comic-Con 2011. “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “Total Recall” and “Underworld: Awakening” all used Light Iron’s OUTPOST™ mobile systems during production, while “Haywire” utilized Light Iron for color correction services. 

Light Iron’s CEO and Founder, Michael Cioni, noted that more and more tent pole films (including these four) have a file-based work flow throughout the production and post production process. Major studios including Sony Pictures, Lakeshore Entertainment, and Relativity Media are embracing the future of cinema by turning to a comprehensive file-based workflow.

Several members of the Light Iron team are regular attendees of Comic-Con and took the week off to attend. For them, seeing the projects to which they’ve contributed--at an event about which they are just as passionate--is the icing on the cake.
